Simple Reshade

Why another reshade preset?

NGL many other Reshade presets changes too much in game, so the overall picture becomes too far from what developers meant it to be.

So I made my own simple preset, that is close to vanilla.

It makes colors to pop out more, nights and dark places becomes even darker, fire sources (torches, lamps, magma etc) becomes much brigher etc.

All of that with little to none FPS drop.

No FPS drop (almost)

This preset was made with vanilla FPS in mind.

It means, that it does not utilize any heavy shaders.

So that you will loose little to none FPS.

It was tested in 4K Ultra settings and drop was about 3-4 FPS.

Could be more for FG, I guess.

How to install?

2. Unpack "Simple Reshade.ini" to where your game is installed (where OblivionRemastered-Win64-Shipping.exe is located, should be inside OblivionRemastered/Binaries/Win64 folder (or WinGDK if you're on GamePass version))

3. Download Reshade from official website

4. Open downloaded file (should be named ReShade_Setup_X. X. X.exe)

5. Select Oblivion Remastered in the list,  then click "Next".

6. Choose "DirectX10/11/12 (should already be selected), click "next".

7. A list will come up, at the bottom click "Browse" button (near a label "Choose preset file") and select "Simple Reshade.ini" file from step above

8. Click "Finish"

9.  Launch the game, press "Home" key, and go through the tutorial or skip it.

10. Press the dropdown box at the top of the reshade window and select "Simple Reshade.ini"

11. Go to Settings at the top of the reshade window, and click on "Effect toggle", apply a key to it. I use "PageUp". You can then toggle the effect on/off on the fly.
