Simple Fast Start - Adventurer's Inventory

Simple Fast Start by wxMichael skips the tutorial dungeon and places you immediately into character creation. You'll begin your adventure outside the Imperial sewers gate, Amulet of Kings in hand. The original mod bases your loadout on attributes and skills and provides you with a large amount of items from the tutorial. Keep what you want, drop what you don't.

This Adventurer’s Inventory version changes Simple Fast Start by providing a curated, semi-randomized kit. Features include:

• []Limited Resources: A small, but balanced selection of tools, food, and valuables.

  []Expanded Archetypes: A new loadout tailored for specialist builds (mages, agents, pilgrims, and other non-combat oriented characters).

  []Improved Logic: More complex loadout selection logic for weapons and armor to better match your character creation choices.

  []Survival Ready: Optimized for immediate play in survival-heavy setups.

  []Core Survival Version: Provides a small amount of soap so you don't have to initially visit a shop to buy it.

Almost every item received is sourced from vanilla tutorial lists. Your starting kit will be mediocre but unique to every playthrough, providing you with just enough to start adventuring right away.

I want to sincerely thank wxMichael for allowing me to publish this as a standalone mod rather than a patch. This replaces the original—no extra plugin slot required. If you have played with the original, make sure to endorse it. If you haven't, please download and endorse.

Under the Hood

This mod modifies one chest record and one script from the original Simple Fast Start. Otherwise, the script and quest changes are identical.

Installation and Compatibility 

• []Requirements: Base game only. Simple Fast Start is not required.

  []Compatibility: No external assets touched. Plugin only. Compatible with all versions of the game. Should be compatible with everything except other alternate start mods.

  []Core Survival Version: Requires Core Survival (Needs - Cooking - Fishing) by rockmik

• Load Order: This mod only changes records relating to the starting tutorial. It should be ok to place after your Bash/Smashed or manual conflict resolution patch.
