This is not mere vanity! Nay, it is cosmic law. For my beard is woven from the very fabric of madness, and to imitate it is to risk unraveling reality itself-or, worse, to look like Jyggalag after a bad night’s sleep.

So, to the developers of Oblivion Remastered: If even a single NPC in the Shivering Isles sports a beard that is not mine, prepare for a rain of fish, cheese, and possibly calipers!

Well, it's true, beards are forbidden on the Shivering Isles. Recall the note found on the corpse of an unfortunate fellow at Punishment Point:

But in Remastered, it's like they forgot about that. The mod corrects this misunderstanding.

REQUIREMENTS

  MANUAL INSTALLATION

  1. Download and install the latest experimental versions of UE4SS, Race Menu Utilities, and NPC Appearance Manager. Be sure to set up NPC Appearance Manager correctly by following its instructions.

  2. Extract the “Sheogorath’s Official Decree on Beards Enforced” archive.

  3. Copy the OblivionRemastered folder from the archive directly into your game directory.

  4. The .json files will automatically be placed in the correct location—just double-check that they’re in the right fold
