Seamless Horse

Virtuos studio remastered horses with splendid virtuosity, but left a neckseam on chestnut horses by mistake.

Also all horses are too shiny under daylight and abnormally so at night.

This mod addresses those issues.

Installation

1. Mod manager : use Vortex or MO2

2. Manual: Unzip and navigate to ~mods folder and put 3 files inside...

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods\

XboxGames\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods\

if you don't have ~mods folder, create one.

if you accidentally put the file in Paks folder, it works just fine.

even if you create a folder inside ~mods folder and put it in there, that's fine, too.

i.e. if you create a folder named electionis and put all my mods in there, no problem. It just works.

this is particularly useful if your mod list gets longer and takes time to recognize all different names and versions, preventing a possible confusion.

Compatibility

This mod is incompatible with any mod that modifies chestnut horse diffuse maps and bay horse normal maps.

As of 7/7/2025, there is none I can find on Nexus, but in the future, there might be.
