Race Rework - Full Overhaul

A complete overhaul of all 10 playable races in Oblivion Remastered, giving each one a real identity, proper weaknesses, and a clear direction without making any single race feel mandatory or broken. Vanilla races either didn't matter past character creation or were just flat stat sticks that were way too unbalanced. This changes that!

(Built alongside my Birthsign Rework and pairs naturally with it. Races give flavor and mild direction, birthsigns guide your build. Works fine standalone but fits best with a higher difficulty or a modded game overall)

Each race now has rebalanced base attributes, reworked skill bonuses, named passives with weaknesses baked in, and new or reworked powers that cost magicka.

Installation: 

Should be compatible with mod managers. I personally use Vortex. Manual installation also works.

The mod only touches race records and their associated spells and abilities, so it should play nicely with pretty much anything that isn't also editing races or their spells. Load order shouldn't matter much.

Starting a new game is highly recommended. Changing your race mid-save using showracemenu can cause issues with attribute and skill values!

This mod was built and tested exclusively on the newest Steam version of

Oblivion Remastered

These versions can differ in file structure, mod support, and general quirks. Feel free to report any platform-specific issues in the posts section and I'll help where I can, but non-Steam support is limited!
