Prestige Attributes (Uncapped Attributes)

Overview

Once you reach 100 points in any of the 8 attributes, you can visit the corresponding Altar inside any church to "Prestige" that attribute. This will add a +80 point modifier, and lower the base attribute by 80, allowing you to remain at/above 100 and continue putting points into that attribute when you level up!

Strength -> Altar of Tiber Septim

Intelligence -> -> Altar of Julianos

Willpower -> Altar of Mara

Agility -> Altar of Kynareth

Speed -> Altar of Akatosh

Endurance -> Altar of Stendarr

Personality -> Altar of Dibella

Luck -> Altar of Zenithar

If the Altar is active from having visited a Wayshrine, is ready to give a blessing that day, and the corresponding attribute is above 100, an additional dialog will appear asking if you would like to Prestige that attribute. You can Prestige each attribute as many times as you want each time you get to 100 base points.

If you are playing as an evil character and are unable to use the Wayshrines/Altars due to your infamy, you can access the Prestiging mechanism at the Shrine of Sithis inside Deepscorn Hollow. You can Prestige each attribute using this Shrine.

You can choose if you want the version with a Varla Stone offering required or not. There are ~70 Varla Stones in the game found deep in Ayleid ruins.

Methodology

I attached a new script to each of the Cathedral Altars, so any other mod that edits the Altars will conflict. It simply pops up a dialog if you are at least at a base value of 100 in the attribute, and runs a couple commands if you choose yes:

Player. SetAV ( - 80)

Player. ModAV 80

It additionally adds an empty Ability Spell to your active effects named " Prestige (1-3)" so you're able to track where the modified attribute points are coming from.

An Ability Spell can't be used to add the attribute points, because it adds to the BASE attribute, preventing you from increasing it on level up.

A normal Spell can't be used because it will leave a permanent effect on screen.

Known Issues/Caveats

• The base game limits Strength and Agility from continuing to add melee and ranged weapon damage above 100 attribute points. Use this mod to uncap the damage formula: Oblivion Damage Formula Attribute Scaling Uncapper (OBSE)

• The Ability Spell indicator only goes up to Prestige 3, but you can Prestige infinitely.
