📋 About This Mod

This pre-enchants all of the "theenco" armor with Grand-level enchantments to circumvent the in-game enchanting invisibility bug.

Pre-enchanted "theenco" Armors (Daggerdancer, Demoria, Dark Holy, Wrathplate, Sylvan Sentinel)

(07/24/2026: Instability Warning: A user has reported a reproducible crash when exiting the sewers on a new save while using this mod as part of a large modlist. The exact incompatibility is not yet known, but the added chest and world edits may be involved. Until the issue is resolved, please use this mod with caution, especially with large modlists or collections.)

This mod is a very simple workaround for an Oblivion Remastered problem I was having in my playthrough; items (specifically the brilliant armor collection by theenco) eventually become invisible after becoming enchanted, through no fault of the mod author.

Note that this is not a fix for the actual problem, that is WAY over my head. I assume TES4R can't handle any changes to FormID's because Creation Engine/UE5 must agree on mesh mapping paths, else things get wonky. I've even seen this happen with stock assets like hoods and jewelry. Anyway, I'm just a novice modder and definitely no expert on how both engines work together, but I found in my own playthrough that adding an enchantment directly into an item's record (preserving the same FormID) has circumvented this annoying problem for me, thus allowing my Breton mage to retain her modesty.

Perhaps this is a silly mod since people have their own preferences for enchantments, but this is here for anyone who wants it! This does not require a new game. (And feel free to use these mods as a template if you're proficient enough in xedit... it really isn't too hard to change the enchantments, and you can even change things up mid-game with no disappearing meshes.)

V. 1. 4 Update: Skystrider armor is no longer available on the Nexus, which is a shame, but it is what it is. I've removed the Skystrider master requirement so that this mod can continue to work. (Apologies it took so long; I not only wanted to see how that permissions situation panned out, but also I'm currently not playing OblivionRE- I'm back into FO4 ATM with the 2nd season looming on the horizon. :) ) Thanks for all the feedback too, I'm glad some people are still digging this silly little mod.

I've not had a chance to play any other class types other than a mage, but I trust these enchantments are adequate enough. These are all Grand level, so might be pretty OP in the beginning game. (shrug)
