How do survival mods usually start their descriptions? Oh right - Immerse yourself in the harsh and unforgiving world of survival in Skyr… Wait, wrong game. Ah, screw it. Let’s skip the cliches ^_^

First, I want to thank chrimbb, the author of Chrim’s Exertion Survival, whose idea I used as the foundation for this project. And not just the idea - I’ve also borrowed a good chunk of the original logic (with his generous permission, of course). So if you like this mod, please visit his page and drop an endorsement. Now, let’s move on.

I’ll spare you flashy marketing lines and get straight to the point. With all due respect to other survival mods, none of them quite fit my needs. Either they were too bloated, too scripted or hardcoded, or both - but each had its own charm and was good in its own way. Still, I wanted something… simpler, yet not too barebones. Most importantly, I wanted maximum compatibility with any other mods that add consumables - food, drinks, etc., without having to create endless compatibility patches, patches for patches and patches for these patches for patches.

• []Highly configurable: almost every parameter is adjustable and toggleable, including the HUD (notifications will still be visible).

  []Minimal ESP footprint to avoid leaving a ton of unnecessary data in your save.

  []No lag or delayed updates: everything runs smoothly and consistently, avoiding a big chunk of the typical issues seen with in-game scripted solutions.

  []Accurate consumption detection instead of relying on 100+ per-item scripts for every food/water item inside an ESP.

  []Supports mods that add food/drinks even without custom patches (and if you do make patches, you can fine-tune everything even further).

  []No visual glitches, no “fifth alchemy effect” artifacts and other UI/tooltip weirdness.

  []No handmade items or half-baked mechanics that clash with the game’s style and atmosphere and no “you have to imagine the missing parts” design, from animations all the way to core mechanics.

  []Pure minimalism: easy to fit into any modlist or full overhaul.

• Load-order agnostic: place it wherever you want in your load order.
