I just wanted to share that, even though my laptop is below the minimum recommended specs, I managed to make Oblivion Remastered at least somewhat playable with some heavy optimization help.
Thanks to some serious tweaking (with AI assistance), my setup — an Intel i7 with an NVIDIA GTX 1050 — can now run the game more smoothly. It's not perfect, but definitely playable now! (30 fps in Open World)
All you need to do is replace the original files (Engine.ini, Scalability.ini, DefaultGameUserSettings.ini) in your %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows
Don't forget to backup your original files first!
