I am uploading my own Unreal Engine blueprints and mannequins that can help make modding this game way more accessible. You won't have to go through the hell me and many others suffered. Enjoy the fruits of our research.

How to Set Up custom Icons for items, quests and Factions

This is done via ESP. In the game folder we can see the Menus folder. This is where most icons are stored.

The faction insignias only appear if you have a rank. It needs a relatively long filepath like this:

Menus\Icons\Quests\iconse13.ddsYou can also hook up to your custom Icons that you put in Unreal and package them, provided they are in the same folder. Like this:

Menus\Icons\Armor\PantherMod\Panther_Icon.dds

This let me use custom icons. See screenshots below.

For items and, surprisingly, quests, the filepath can be shorter. Example:

Now, there are some tricks here. Of course, we are not using .dds format. All the icons are PNG's. But the good ol Gamebryo engine is coded to recognize this filepath. You can also see it mimics vanilla 1 to 1. If you open Construction Set with these icons set up you will ACTUALLY see that vanilla icon.

Also the name of the icon texture in the Unreal game files starts with "T_". This prefix gets ignored, we do not put it in the esp, but so far we DO put it in the actual name of the actual file that we package.
