Oblivion Legends - Valmir Drethan (Preset)

I've been enjoying making different characters from different races and origins, with different builds and skillsets. For me, it's fun making lore for these characters as they step into the world of Oblivion to fulfill their destiny so i figured i'd start sharing them. Below you'll find a description of the contents, soft requirements, and how to install. If you're interested i've also written a short story on Valmir's lore that i will paste at the bottom. Hope you enjoy my first upload!

This is a sewer save character preset of my half-breed Altmer, Valmir Drethan. The save file is right at the sewer gate with all items gathered from inside the sewer. Full starter custom Spellsword build is already applied to his Sign and Class. Feel free to tweak anything you'd like though, as he is yours now. File also includes a folder of screenshots for his sliders if you just would like to replicate his looks in the racemenu :)

I also use a couple mods to make the character models look more refined so i encourage downloading these mods if you haven't already. Silky and Smooth Skin & Young Textures Revamped

TO INSTALL SAVE FILE:

In order to install the save file into your game so you're able to start your journey with Valmir, in your file directory you would go to Users/yourname/Documents/MyGames/Oblivion Remastered/Saved/SaveGames and drop the file into the save log.

Valmir Drethan: The Exile

Born under the golden skies of Summerset Isle, Valmir Drethan was the son of two worlds—one of radiant beauty, the other of shadow. His mother, a proud Altmer, was a high-ranking mage in the Summerset Council, known for her elegance and unmatched magical prowess. His father, however, was a Dunmer. A skilled swordsman from the ash-covered lands of Morrowind. They met in secret, a love born of passion but also of defiance, for the Altmer had long held contempt for the Dunmer, considering them beneath their superior heritage.

Valmir’s birth was a secret kept in the shadows, and his mother raised him in isolation, far from the judgmental eyes of Altmer society. The young Altmer boy was taught both the arts of the blade and the delicate intricacies of magic, his mother’s way of preparing him for a life that could bridge the gap between two cultures. But even with these gifts, he would never truly be accepted by either.

The moment Valmir came of age, his secret was exposed. His Altmer heritage could not shield him from the harsh judgment of his kin. To the pure-blooded Altmer, the mixture of his Dunmer blood was a stain upon their bloodline. An imperfection that sullied the purity of their race. His mother, once a powerful and respected mage, was exiled, and Valmir found himself cast out as well.
