Oblivion Gate Finder

Oblivion Gate Finder v1. 0. 0

A read-only UE4SS diagnostic mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

It scans all 90 vanilla random Oblivion Gate references and reports which ones are currently open.

Requirements

- UE4SS for Oblivion Remastered

- ConsoleUtils v1. 1 or newer

Install

`OblivionGateFinder`

`...\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\`

`OblivionGateFinder : 1`

`...\ue4ss\Mods\mods.txt`

Use

Load a save and press:

Ctrl+Alt+G

Results are printed to the UE4SS console/log.

The scanner classifies each vanilla random gate reference as:

- `GetDestroyed = 1` -> closed

- `GetDestroyed = 0` + `GetDisabled = 1` -> inactive/unspawned

- `GetDestroyed = 0` + `GetDisabled = 0` -> open

For every open gate it prints:

- list index

- X/Y/Z world position

- a manual `player.moveto "REFID"` command

Safety

The scanner is read-only.

It does not:

- spawn or reopen gates

- close gates

- modify MQ00 variables

- modify quest stages

- teleport the player automatically

Scope

v1. 0 scans the 90 vanilla random gate references from `Oblivion.esm`.

Fixed/quest gates such as Bruma and the Great Gate are not included.

Validation

The scanner was validated on a save with:

- 50 random gates spawned

- 48 random gates destroyed

- 2 random gates still open

It correctly reported exactly the two live gate references, which were then verified in-game.
