Oblivion Fonts Remastered

Summary

Does what it says on the can. You have all these old style fonts throughout the game and then the body font is a very boring one. I have sourced a few fonts from various open source projects on the web (all credited bellow) that you can choose from. There are some versions for accessibility's sake included.

What Fonts Does This Replace?

This mod allows you to replace 3 fonts:

- RobinsonNew -- font used for the body text, like in the Settings menu and subtitles.

- KingthingsPetrock -- font used for the menu headers (tabs that read "Inventory", "Self", "Help", etc;), item descriptions, and more.

- Scrivano -- font used for handwritten text (notes, books, etc.)

Seeing as I have limited time to play the game, let alone test it, I don't know exactly where each font is used. Therefore I have named the 3 types of fonts as "RFont_Replacer", "KFont_Replacer" and "SFont_Replacer" for RobinsonNew, KingthingsPetrock and Scrivano respectively.

!!!REMINDER: You can obviously only use one font replacer per each font type!!!



• []Download the .zip file. Inside it there will be 2 folders respective to the font you're replacing (read above to understand what you're replacing).

  []Open the folder and choose the font you wish to use.

  []Open the one you prefer. Inside it there will be 3 files (xxx.pak, xxx.ucas, xxx.utoc). Some fonts have multiple size version, choose the one you prefer.

  []Copy the 3 files to:

 -- Installation folder/Oblivion Remastered/Content/Paks/~mods            IF THERE IS NO ~mods FOLDER, CREATE IT.

• Repeat for the other font replacer if you so wish.

  To uninstall, simply delete the files you copied over.

  I have not thoroughly tested this mod. If you find any bugs please point them out, such as missing characters and all that!!

  !!!!!Currently only focusing on the English version!!!!!!!!!

  Though some fonts already have other characters for multiple languages. Might add support for umlauts and some accents but don't hold me to it.
