NOVIS - A HIGH FANTASY PRESET

Description

High Fantasy Visuals for TESIV. Brighter Exteriors, Darker Interiors and Nights.

Installation instructions

1. Download https://reshade.me/

2. Download and extract NOVIS - A High Fantasy Preset.ini

3. Place  NOVIS - A High Fantasy Preset.ini in Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64

4. Install RESHADE and choose Oblivion Remastered.exe.

5. Click Next, select DirectX 10/11/12; Click Browse and choose  NOVIS - A High Fantasy Preset.ini.  Click Next and wait for download to finish.

6. IMPORTANT SHADER (Colorgrading.fx on the Latest Reshade does not download the correct file for some reason): Download "Colorgrading.fx" and place it at Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\reshade-shaders\Shaders

6. Start the game. Press "Home" and choose  NOVIS - A High Fantasy Preset.ini

IMPORTANT ENGINE TWEAKS:

These are the settings I use. Otherwise I get a washed-out very bright visual.

Find your Engine.ini: Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows and add the following lines:

r. EyeAdaptationQuality=3

r. EyeAdaptation. SpeedUp=0

r. EyeAdaptation. SpeedDown=0

r. EyeAdaptation. LensAttenuation=1. 4

r. SkylightIntensityMultiplier=2. 8

r. Color. Mid=0. 30

THESE ARE ALL THE ENABLED SHADERS (CHECK to know if the preset is working as intended)

This preset is better used with dark weathers, prefferrably Overcast or Rainy. Clear weather tends to cause overexposure.
