MagicLoader2 Loader

I've noticed discrepancies in comments like

"MagicLoader Loader functionality was absorbed by MagicLoader V2."

"MagicLoader 2 does not automatically load mods unfortunately!"

"It does. Add it as an executable if you use MO2. For Vortex, it should be a similar process. "

"I can confirm that MagicLoader 2 seems to work like MLL did...  The caveat being you run (the game) from ML2 exe from now on."

So yeah, it is possible to hack the game launching process to achive automated MagicLoader 2 loading but I don't want to.  I want to load the game with OBSE64 like it is supposed to be. :)

Here comes the "magic" of good old batch programming.

Instead of running obse64_loader.exe directly from Vortex run obse64_and_MagicLoader2_loader.bat as a tool.

Set its mod type to 'Binaries Folder' in Vortex so the install folder will be steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64 (it should be in the same folder as obse64_loader.exe).

It will run Magic Loader 2, which does its job, detects if OBSE64 is installed and run it.  No additional (command prompt) hacks required.  If Magic Loader 2 is not found (eg. not installed correctly) it will simply run obse64_loader.exe.

I have no idea how to do this on GamePass (or if it requires any tweaking at all) but if you tell me I can update it.

INSTALLATION

Download the mods linked above and make sure you follow their install instructions.  MagicLoader 2's mod type should be set to 'Engine Injector' while OBSE64 should be 'Binaries Folder'. After that follow the instructions above.
