Madness Longsword Blade Replacer

Description

I didn't like the blade of the vanilla madness longsword in OBR, so I decided to create a new model and give it a custom texture. The original gave the impression of being made of iron or plain steel even though in Oldblivion it was depicted as being like a dusky stone (maybe basalt or slate-like) after being forged, and in Skyrim's Saints and Seducers creation, it resembles ebony but is lighter, slate-gray and has a more "neutral" tone (ebony looks "cold" because it had a bluish-purple gray tone. Madness has a slate gray with very faint hints of brown and green).

Another thing I didn't like was the blade shape. It looked too soft and rounded, while the original tapered like the steel sword. Skyrim's version was even better imo because it had a taper to it, but it had a chaotic, uneven edge, looking like some shoddy craftsmanship while belying its strength and efficacy.

Enough of that, let's get into the meat and potatoes: This is a simple replacer. I modeled a longer blade with a taper and gave it an uneven hammered edge. Think of it as a "compromise" between the oldblivion madness sword and its skyrim counterpart. I also had to create a new texture because it has a different UV layout (and I didn't like the original blade texture so there's that)

Installation instructions

Just drop the files inside the OBR ~mods folder and you're good to go.
