ABOUT THIS MOD

This is my very first mod ever! I spent about 3–5 days learning everything from scratch — Blender, UE5, FModel, texture editing, mesh replacements — all of it. And now… Jack of Blades lives!

This armor is a MESH REPLACEMENT. That means it replaces an existing armor set (currently the Shrouded Armor) rather than being a standalone item. I’m still learning how to create standalone equipment — it’s pretty complex, but I’ll get there.

🛠️ WHAT THIS MOD DOES

- Replaces the Shrouded Armor with Jack of Blades' full outfit

- Mask and armor are one piece — for now

- You can spawn it using the usual in-game method or find it where the Shrouded Armor normally appears

🧠 My plan is to release alternate versions soon:

  []Hoodless version

  []Helmet-only mask replacement

  🎮 INSTALLATION

  1. Download the .rar file

  2. Extract it

  3. Drop all 3 .pak files into this folder:

  OblivionRemastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods

  (If the ~mods folder doesn’t exist, just create it!)

  ✅ TIP: Make your character bald! Hair will clip through the mask and ruin the look.

  ⚠️ KNOWN ISSUES

  Here’s what I’ve found so far. I’m working on fixing these as I learn more.

  • []Slight clipping during sprint/attacks – likely armature/model positioning

    []Model needs cleanup – some armor bits don’t look perfect yet

    []Character hunching over – FIXED!

  • Ground mesh oddities or texture bugs – likely weight/armature issues

    As I improve my Blender and Unreal skills, these issues will be addressed. I’m hoping v2 or v3 will be polished and clean — and I’ll keep the updates coming!
