Instant Skeleton Key - Unbreakable lockpick at any time

Does the lockpicking minigame feel way too difficult for a casual game?

Are you still low level or somehow managed to lose your skeleton key?

Yeah this will provide it to you!

What exactly does this mod do:

Adds a skeleton key into your inventory, if you drop it or sell it will give it back to you regardless!

An optional file is available that changes the skeleton key to a quest item, meaning you will no longer lose it or be able to sell it.

INSTALLATION

REQUIREMENTS

AFAIK Vortex should work correctly now, however if you have any problems the manual installation is below

Manual Installation:

Extract the zipped folder into the MAIN GAME FOLDER

Then make sure that your 'Plugins.txt' has the 'InstantSkeletonKey.esp' added at the end of the list

Your main game folder will be:

e.g. Steam:

YourDriveLetter:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\

for GamePass its more like:

YourDriveLetter:\XboxGames\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\

Your Plugins.txt (and the ESP file of the mod) should be in this folder (navigate from main game folder):

Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data

Should look similar to this (InstantSkeletonKey and any other ESP mods must be added at the end):
