📋 About This Mod
Adjust the scale of the player character that should persist through game restarts and file loading to prevent you from needing to re use the scale command repeatedly
Take everything here with a grain of salt I have no clue what I'm really talking about
Height aka Scale Increase and decrease is a lightweight, zero-dependency Oblivion mod that automatically sets the player’s scale (size) to your desired value — and keeps it there.
It is my first time ever making anything for a game (so take everything I say with a grain of salt) and I'm a complete amateur so it might not work and I probably won't bother updating or fixing it because it's good enough for me.
V2 includes 8 different spells each adjusting the height a different amount (If the spells don't load on game start, try the command:"StartQuest SetPlayerScaleQuest" after a couple seconds the spells should be added)
The tutorial video for editing the heights is outdated but the install guide is still the same
V2 completely changes how the scale checking works, using an item in the inventory rather than a quest, so it should hopefully be a smoother less buggy experience overall

Issues I've Found
When playing (for example) a Breton you may expect that setting your scale to 1. 1 would make you just like a High Elf.
However in my testing, your hit box will be too big to get through short doors (and potentially other problems). If this happens to you simply turn off the auto-scaling and then re-enable it when you go through the door alternatively, you can use the command player.setscale 1 which will return you to the default race height for a few moments before auto-scaling back to your selected amount
IMPORTANT!!Don't enter your race's default height into the player.setscale command expecting it to change back to normal! For example. if your base height is 1. 1, using the command "player.setscale 1. 1" WILL NOT set it to a value of 1. 1 but will instead MULTIPLY the base height by 1. 1 to a value of 1. 21!! Using "player.setscale 1. 0" will multiply the base height by 1. 0 leaving it at the default va
