Guild Advancement - Remastered and Streamlined

Description

One of Oblivion’s most notable quirks is that you can rise to the highest ranks of the Mages Guild or Fighters Guild while barely understanding the fundamentals of magic or combat. This mod addresses that disconnect by introducing skill requirements for guild advancement, creating a more grounded and satisfying sense of progression.

Now, advancement in both guilds requires you to demonstrate actual competence in the disciplines you are meant to represent. Instead of rushing to Arch-Mage or Guildmaster through quest completion alone, you must first develop the relevant skills to a meaningful level.

To help guide progression, joining either guild now provides an in-game quest that tracks your current requirements and shows what you need to improve in order to advance.

This mod can be installed mid-playthrough, but is best experienced on a character who has not yet joined either guild.
