ForceHeight

This is a lightweight UE4SS mod that hooks into the game startup to automatically set the player's height. No menus, no keybinds, no hassle. Should work seamlessly in first and third person.

What makes this different from other similar mods that do the same thing? Hopefully a bit less overhead, plus racial presets.

Under the hood it leverages the OBRConsole.lua utility you can grab here (already included in this mod) to fire off console commands cleanly.

• []Make sure you have UE4SS installed

  []Extract into Oblivion Remastered > OblivionRemastered > Binaries > Win64 > UE4SS > Mods

  []Choose any of the listed presets within the included config.lua for a lore-accurate height (currently "Imperial")

  []Put "Custom" and specify the custom number directly below it if you want something specific

  []Launch the game, and then height is locked in exactly how you specified at the top of config.lua

  Otherwise you will be the default scale!

  • []Compatible with males and females; height is in relation to the player's default height (1. 0)

    []I made sure to use lore-accurate height numbers. Feel free to double-check and/or correct me if I missed something!

    []Compatible with all other mods that change heights of NPC's and the like

    []Not save file-specific

    []Will not cause save file bloat; just automates player.setscale

    Only bugs I've seen are the (occasional) Funhouse Mirror effect in the inventory menu. Let me know if you find any conflicts or issues.

    Other than that...

    ...it just works.
