Female Complexion Edits

This mod contains face retextures for the youngest complexion for all 8 female human races. There are two different types: 'Natural', which stays true to the original vanilla textures, and 'Makeup', which has makeup. The normal maps have been edited slightly to look a bit smoother but still have some texture so they don't look plastic. This will only affect NPCs who are also using the youngest texture (the age slider needs to be all the way to the left). I've tried not to go too overboard and keep things pretty lore friendly. The difference between natural and makeup versions is quite subtle as well.

I recommend using Realistic High Quality Skin or Silky and Smooth Skin for the body textures as I have not touched the body textures in this mod. This will conflict/not work with any other textures that edit female face texture 1 for humanoid races.

Please note I am not taking requests - I made this for myself and am sharing it in case anyone else would like to use it. I'm not going to make 20 different versions to keep everyone happy. This is my first time making a mod for Oblivion and using UE so please let me know if there are any actual technical issues. I don't plan to make male versions as I'm a female who plays female characters and I mod for my own enjoyment, sorry.

These mods use chunk ID 120 (natural version) and chunk ID 121 (makeup version).

VERSION 2 - 24 May 2025

- Edited normal maps to smooth them out a bit more

- Edited Breton and Nord makeup to make it less severe. The Breton textures look quite similar - I'm not sure if it's the eye shape, but whatever makeup I did looked too dark so I just made it very light.

- Added details to the normal maps for high elves and wood elves

- Various little tweaks to diff maps

- Added a thicker makeup version - so there is now natural, makeup, thicker makeup

If you are using a body retexture, the face might look a little bit lighter than the body. If this happens, I suggest going to the tone tab in the character creator and playing around with the eye and cheek tints.

Q: Does this mod work with custom body mods/meshes?

A: Yes, if the body mod doesn't also include face textures.

INSTALLING

Extract and paste the mod files into your Oblivion Remastered folder. Mod files should be in Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods. They may be in "Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\" instead.

UNINSTALLING

Remove the files that you pasted into the above folders.
