Empower Necromancy with Black Soul Gems

Mod Overview

This mod allows you to increase the damage dealt by your Undead Summons through Black Soul Gems.

Each filled Black Soul Gem in your inventory will increase the combat related attributes and skills of your undead summons by two points each.

• []This buff maxes-out when you have 30 Filled Black Soul Gems.

  []Note: Your summon only receives the buff once they enter combat.

This gives Necromancer players a reason to stockpile Black Soul Gems beyond enchanting and roleplaying reasons.

New in v2: Perk System

In addition to scaling power, you now unlock unique perks as you collect more souls:

• []5 Souls – Gravehide: Undead Summons gain +15 Resistance to Normal Weapons

  []10 Souls – Soulshroud: Undead Summons gain +15 Magic Resistance

  []15 Souls – Dark Conduit: While in combat with an undead summon, you regenerate an additional 1 magicka per second.

  []20 Souls – Chill of the Crypt: Undead Summons have a 25% chance to apply a movement speed debuff to enemies when hit. Summons also gain an additional +15 to both Weapon and Magic Resistances.

  []25 Souls - Master of Death: You gain the "Risen Flesh" Power. Allowing you to resurrect dead bodies.

Once the old OBSE script functions return, I plan to replace the boring generic effects with more fun ones in the future! My Ideas so far:

• []Increase the amount of Summons you can have through the perks.

• Have your Summons apply new Spells on-hit.

These planned mechanics would be easy to implement in Oldblvion, but we just don't have the tools to make them in the Remaster yet ;_;.

To balance out this buff, consider installing my other mod, Necromancy is Actually Banned, which forces you to be secretive about your necromantic activities.

Installation and Compatibility

Install this mod as you would any other mod, adding it to plugins.txt etc. Place it near the bottom.

This mod alters all Summon Undead NPC records, so until a SkyPatcher-esque mod is released, be wary of conflicts.
