Blessings Remastered

A simple overhaul of blessings inspired by Blessings Rework and Trua - Minimalistic Faiths of Skyrim.  Designed to make blessings more useful with a simple progression system in a "Vanilla+" friendly way.

Overview

• []Show devotion to a Divine by visiting their Altars and Praying out in the world

  []As your devotion grows, their blessing will be stronger the next time you visit a chapel altar.

  []Betray a Divine by praying to another, repeated betrayals have consequences

  []Divine blessings and prayers now last for an entire day

  Only affects Altars and Wayshrines

  Does not affect Deadric shrines, Doomstones or Runestones

  How it works

  Blessing and Prayers

  Blessings are received by visiting an altar, and build up a moderate amount of Devotion

  • []work similarly to vanilla, but scale the more you use them

    Prayers are learned by visiting an altar, and can be used once a day.  They grant a blessing of tier 1 strength and build up a small amount of Devotion

    • []optional: for those who want more mechanical depth or roleplay options

      []praying while out on adventure will often increase the strength of your next altar blessing

      []helps you build up devotion more quickly after switching to a new Divine

      Wayshrines give tier 1 blessings, and due to their remoteness may be taken in secret.  Build a small amount of Devotion

      • []less powerful than an altar blessing, but can be taken whenever you run across one on an adventure without fear of triggering a betrayal

        Betrayal

        • []Betrayals occur when you switch from one Divine to another

          []Betrayals reset your devotion and strip any existing blessings belonging to your previous Divine

          []Committing multiple betrayals against a Divine will cause them to leave the temple and require a new pilgrimage

          • []there are 3 tiers of altar blessing tied to Devotion tiers

            []blessing scaling : tier 1 - vanilla , tier 2 - 2x , tier 3 - 3x

          • []altars give 3 devotion

            []prayers give 1 devotion

          • []6 points unlocks tier 2 (on 3rd altar visit minus prayers),

            []12 devotion unlocks tier 3 (on 5th altar visit, minus prayers)

          • []betraying a Divine reduces their devotion to 0

            []3 betrayals will cause the Divine to revert back to pilgrim stage
