📋 About This Mod
Description
The forces of Oblivion are pouring into Tamriel. Cities are under siege, Daedra roam the countryside, and the Mythic Dawn has assassinated the Emperor.
Yet somehow, nobody seems to care when you casually summon a Clannfear or Dremora in the middle of town.
This mod changes that.
While Conjuration has long been recognized as a legitimate school of magic, public opinion has shifted dramatically in the wake of the Oblivion Crisis. To the average citizen, Daedra are no longer fascinating magical entities. They are the servants of the same forces that destroyed Kvatch and plunged the Empire into chaos.
Summoning Daedra is not illegal, but it certainly is not something most respectable people are comfortable witnessing.
After witnessing the destruction of Kvatch, the player will begin to face social consequences for openly practicing Daedric summoning.
Features
-
[]After completing Breaking the Siege of Kvatch, casting a Daedra summoning spell while detected by a non-evil NPC will result in either:
[
] -30 Disposition with nearby witnesses, or [/][
]+1 Infamy [/]
[]The penalty only applies when your summoning is witnessed by NPCs who would reasonably disapprove. [/]
[]Members of the Mages Guild are exempt, recognizing Conjuration as a legitimate school of magic despite current events. [/]
[]NPCs belonging to the Bandit, Marauder, Necromancer, Mythic Dawn, and Conjurer factions will not react negatively. [/]
[]Creatures are never considered valid witnesses, regardless of faction. [/]
As a general rule, if an NPC attacks you on sight without ever speaking to you, they are probably considered "evil" by the mod and will not judge your Daedric practices, though there are a few exceptions.
