Colorful Clear Map Icons

This replaces the map icons with more colorful versions, with cleaned up lines and a less worn/aged look.

Alternate versions without square borders or enemies on the compass are also available.

This also fixes the texture format so the icons won't be blurry like vanilla. Other mods addressing that issue are unnecessary.

Choose only one main file.

  Vortex will automatically set the Mod Type to PAK Mod and deploy to the correct path. []Manual

  Place the 3 pak files here:<Game Install Path>\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods\

Compatibility

This replaces only the map icons texture at this path and is compatible with any mod that doesn't replace it.

Art\UI\Modern\GameMenuLayer\Map\T_UI_MapIcons.uasset

It's also compatible with mods that do replace this file as long as my pak files load after the other mod's (based on filename).

The map replacer used in the screenshots is A More Complete World Map.
