A port of Active Inventory Spell from Oldblivion

If the OG mod author wishes to reupload this tweaked version themself, they are free to do so. Just post in the posts section and I will remove the modpage. I just find this spell too useful to keep away from the people.

I've added too much of my own work to this mod. Besides, this method is open-source in Oblivion modding community it turns out. Feel free to use the scripts in your mods, it's a contribution to the people.

What is this mod?

A touch spell. Gets added to your spell list when you load into the game. Can access contents of any Non-Hostile alive ACTOR. Yes, actor. Meaning it works both on NPCs and Creatures. Go get venison from deer without murdering the deer. LOL.

Since 0. 2 you can trade with any NPC via a dialogue topic. Just cast a new spell on them to add or remove the NPC from a list of characters who have this topic.

Since 0. 3 you can need a special book to learn or forget the spells from this mod. You can get it at Thoronir's or The First Edition.

HOW IT WORKS

There is a chest and a ring (ring removed in 0. 2, vanilla boots work just fine) in an invisible cell. On cast, the chests moves to you. All the npc items move inside the chest. The chest sets ownership to you (so it does not count as stealing). You take and give items. When you close the chest, the items get moved back to NPC from the chest. Then a ring pair of Daedric Boots gets added, equipped and removed from the npc. This refreshes their equipped clothes. And now they wear what you gave them.

To be clear, they will equip what THEY feel is appropriate, meaning they probably take the price, weight and armor values into account.

If the NPC is supposed to wear specific clothes dictated by their AI package, they will wear these clothes (at least if they still have them).

For example, Rohassan in Imperial City wears Dark Seducer separated armor I gave her all the time EXCEPT evenings, when she is told by the game to wear her evening clothes.
