Bag of Holding - A Storage Spell

Description

Adds a Bag of Holding spell that you can use to open a infinite, permanent storage to stash your goodies.

The spell will be added after you leave the sewers and the tutorial quest is complete. If you add this midgame after you left the sewers, the spell will be added when you load your save.

Due to limitations and crashes regarding containers in Oblivion Remastered, this mod required some creativity in scripting to make it work. It has a container in some empty cell that needs to be moved close to your character so it can be accessed, and then sent back to the limbo cell.

Installation

Either use your mod manager or install it manually, like any other common mod.

Manual install: extract the files in your <gameroot>\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data and add BagOfHolding.esp to your Plugins.txt. Load order doesn't matter.

Don't forget to run the Magic Loader, if using the MagicLoader version.

Requirements

UE4SS TesSyncMapInjector is a hard requirement, your game will crash without it.

For the MagicLoader version: Magic Loader is required, or you'll keep seeing "Missing from String table" as the spell and container names.

For the No MagicLoader version: NL-Tag Remover is recommended to remove the tags from the spell and container names.

Important

It's important to understand this mod

absolutely requires a functioning UE4SS TesSyncMapInjector

- which, as of this writing (version 0. 1. 8), has a bug with the Standard Edition of the game, where mods will not map correctly. There are workarounds, check that mod's comments and bug reports to learn what to do; or wait for their next update.

If TSMI is not working in your game, this mod will crash every time you cast the spell. So be sure it's working, test with their example plugin or read the comments to understand the bug and how to work around it.
