Alternate Start - Main Quest Delayer Enhancer

Description

The starting room in Alternate Start - Main Quest Delayer always felt a little underwhelming to me. Instead of a mysterious place between beginnings, it was simply an empty black room.

This mod gives that space a proper makeover, transforming it into a more atmospheric and immersive starting area while preserving the functionality of the original mod.

While working on the port, I also fixed several issues with the faction starts. The original version was missing the dialogue topics required to properly begin certain faction questlines, preventing those starts from functioning as intended.

I've also added a new option to start in prison, which will immediately begin the vanilla tutorial. In case you want to do the vanilla start for some characters but don't want to disable the mod. There is also now an option to start over and re-select your race/birthsign/class.

Finally, I reworked the starting equipment to provide a more immersive and practical beginning. Every character starts with a small collection of basic supplies, while additional gear is determined by the major skills of your class and background.

Installation

Extract the plugin to:

steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\DataThen add the plugin's filename to your

Plugins.txtfile in the same directory. Launch the game, and the mod will be ready to use.
