📋 About This Mod
NOTICE
Removed Ushnar's dog as essential, since it was a bit problematic for Khajiit players. If playing as a Khajiit, Ushnar may have his dog attack you due to his hatred of cats. Since this is a scripted event, having the dog as essential will make it unable to die.
The dog respawns in about 2 days time anyway. So if you're doing a playthrough as a Khajiit, and dealing with Ushnar, just update to the new 1. 3 version beforehand to prevent any issues.

If you love dogs, and don't like them dying in your game, this mod might be for you.
This mod does 3 things.
It makes ALL dogs essential, which means they never die. They can be unconscious (knocked out for a short while), but then they
become active again.
2nd, it lowers their aggression so they don't attack. Even if they have a low disposition toward you.
3rd, it makes sure that responsibility settings are at 0 for ALL dogs, so they won't report crimes.
Another main file adds wolves as essential. Wolves in the wild will never die, and will flee when you get near them.
Useful if any other creature, bandits, (or hunters) try to attack them.
If you use the main file that covers wolves, be aware that the timber wolf you fight in the Arena at some point can still die.
This ensures you can still win the match and start another round.
Two more "Bonus" main files will add skinned and skeletal hounds as essential and non aggressive, for those that want that.
These bonus mods are sort of experimental, and hopefully should not affect any quests and only meant for those who also want
to keep skinned and skeletal hounds alive and unaggressive as well.
I'm not sure if this effects Ushnar's skinned hound or not. His skinned hound can't fast travel with you, and seems to die no matter what.
But try it and see.

Why did I make this mod?
When I first played Skyrim, it bothered me that dogs can die.
Thankfully mods can prevent that now.
I'm pretty certain I covered all the dog records. Using the Fandom Wiki page as a starter base for gathering them all into a single plugin, that is.
