VKVII Oblivion
A series of personal mods, this is: Imperial City.
Remade textures for the Imperial City (interiors and exterior).
My goal was to stay similar to the original or at least maintain the original style/atmosphere. I hope you'll like this pack.
Note: Meshes
I have included some meshes with corrected UVs (fixed distortion issue on floors).
Installation:
Extract the archives and put the content in your Data folder.
To uninstall: delete the files from the archives from your folders.
Or use WyreBash to install/uninstall, this pack should be BAIN-Compatible.
I hope you enjoy, have fun in Cyrodiil!

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with over 1,000 endorsements and 170k downloads—clearly a go-to for Imperial City overhauls.
- Covers both interiors and exteriors, so you get a consistent look throughout the city.
- Simple texture replacement—no gameplay changes, just a visual facelift.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020—might not be compatible with the latest Oblivion patches or mods that alter the same textures.
- Only covers the Imperial City, so other cities won't get the same treatment.
- No detailed changelog or compatibility notes provided, so you'll need to test with your mod list.
For Oblivion players who want to refresh the look of the Imperial City without overhauling the whole game. If you're a purist who wants a subtle but noticeable texture upgrade, this is a solid pick. Skip if you're looking for changes to other cities or want a full visual overhaul.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a texture mod, make sure to place it after any mods that alter the same textures in your load order to avoid conflicts.
- Use a mod manager like Oblivion Mod Manager or Wrye Bash to easily install and uninstall without messing up your Data folder.
- If you're using the Steam version, remember that Oblivion's launcher may need to be set to run as administrator for mods to work properly.
