Velothi race for OCOv2 (Chimer)

Background

Ever since I played Hallgarth's (now deleted :'( ) 'Velothi - the true Chimer' mod for Skyrim, I wanted to have something similar for Oblivion. Sadly, I didn't like the available Chimer mods on the Nexus, so I've decided to make one to my own tastes, based on OCO.

Description

This mod adds a new OCO-based race called "Velothi". It uses a slightly darker OCO Altmer/ Aureal skin retexture (non-replacer). Eye-colours are the OCO Altmer gold, green, and yellow, and the Bosmer black. Attributes, skills, and height are the same as those of the Dunmer.

What's new?

I was not fully satisfied with the old racial abilities (elemental resistance and summonable ancestor's ghost), so I've changed them to be more unique. The new abilities are as follows:

Chimer Ambition

• []Fortify attribute: Strength - 10p

  []Fortify Magicka - 10p

  []Resist Normal Weapons - 5p

• []Drain attribute: Willpower - 50p for 60sec

  []Fortify attribute: Intelligence - 50p for 60sec

  []Fortify Magicka - 20p for 60sec

  []Weakness to Magic - 100p for 60sec

  Additionally, I edited the race's description slightly.

  Requirements

  • []Oblivion Character Overhaul v2 by nuska;

    []Blockhead by shademe.

    While I initially thought that HGEC was required, someone in the comments said that the respective files weren't included in the mod (I only know so much modding, sorry), but theoretically, the textures should work with any body-mod. Just know that they're based off the vanilla Altmer\ Aureal textures.
