📋 About This Mod

Description

Allows use of WASD keys for movement, and space or E for select in all menus. Also makes vanilla up/down arrows repeat like their left/right counterparts.

If you have the activate key bound to space or E, activate will take priority. There is an option in the INI to stop the Activate key from closing menus.

In the container and barter menus, shift clicking an itemstack takes the entire stack, control clicking takes a single item (skipping the quantity menu).

Compatible with NorthernUI

Installation

Use a mod manager, or manually extract the .zip file into your Oblivion 'Data' folder.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Huge download count (161k) shows it's a go-to for menu navigation.
  • Over 1,200 endorsements—community clearly digs it.
  • Lightweight: no ESP, just an OBSE plugin, so it won't bloat your load order.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2020—might not play nice with newer OBSE versions.
  • Only affects menus, so if you're expecting gameplay changes, this isn't it.
  • Requires OBSE, so you need to have that set up first.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Oblivion players who prefer keyboard-centric navigation and hate reaching for arrow keys. Also great for NorthernUI users who want a more modern menu feel. Skip if you're fine with the default controls or want something more than a UI tweak.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure OBSE is installed and you launch the game through obse_loader.exe, not the vanilla exe.
  • If you use NorthernUI, load this plugin after it to ensure compatibility.
  • Test in the main menu first—if WASD doesn't work, check that the plugin is in your Data/OBSE/Plugins folder.
