DESCRIPTION

Since 3. 0: Cleaned the original mod and fixed the errors. It is now included here. The original resources are still needed.

Very simple, but needed patches for Mages Guild Quests and The Ayleid Steps. They are separated files.

Basically you should not see any more floating objects in the Arcane University lobby. If anybody finds others in other areas, let me know.

The OOO patch rebalances NPCs and creatures to OOO standards.

A DIFFERENT version for which my mod OOO Enhanced covers much more ground, detailed below.

New version for OOO Enhanced with many changes.

- Objects added by OOO Enhanced won't collide with those of UA.

- Overhauled the ownership of objects.

- "Rare books" made more rare.

- The upstairs of the public services office is now owned (previously you could just take anything there)

- The soulgem maker has been made a lot less effective.

- The room that had daedric equipment among other things, has been completely removed from the game.

- All the portals have mysticism requirements, varying in the level required depending on which. Another way to access them is just having a higher rank in the Mages Guild.

- Further "stealable", or otherwise useful material, has been added.

- Enchantments rebalanced; usually made weaker.

- Ayleid and Dwemer museums have been removed. There's an alternative entrance to the university via magic portals (see readme for my "OOO Enhanced").

Since version 2. 3:

- MUSEUMS have now been completely REMOVED.

- Instead, the new "secret entrance" uses the new portals added by OOO Enhanced, which require a high mysticism skill (that mod also adds special scrolls, sold by the thieves guild, for this purpose).

- Some portals have been relocated into the new areas of Universitas Arcanorum, which make more sense.

INSTALLATION

Since version 2. 0, it has a BAIN friendly folder division; I recommend installing your mods through Wrye Bash, what is called "BAIN".

Otherwise just extract the patches you would like to use out of the three into the oblivion directory, and either select them in your load order or merge them into a bashed patch using wrye bash.

Use ONLY ONE OOO patch. If you use OOO Enhanced, DO NOT use the standard OOO patch. Use the OOO Enhanced patch instead.

Load everything below UA.

Load the OOO Enhanced version below OOO Enhanced and, of course, UA.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod appears to be incompatible with Open Cities, but it's entirely compatible with Better Cities.
