The Hesu Mod Collection

So the time has come to close up shop. I have migrated the mod page from this site over to the new page at AFK Mods. I won't be adding anything more to this one. The HESU series has been fully updated as of 11/13/2021. All bug reports and all conflict reports have already been completed. There are a number of newly made compatibility patches available. HESU is now 100% compatible with the Unique Landscapes series.

The Hesu Mod Collection

The Hesu mods initially came to my attention via screenshots posted on here on Oblivion Nexus. The

plugins were located on a Japanese website, with little descriptive information, and were unheard of

in the English mod community. Translated text reveals that the author gave permission to enhance

and redistribute so long as the proper credits are given.

I have uploaded them here so the English modding community can enjoy these wonderful creations.

The Hesu Mod Collection includes 15 amazing plugins which are primarily landscape mods. They also

contain small settlements, creatures, and NPCs. Each of the mods overhauls, and indeed transforms a

specific region of the game.

What makes them outstanding is the use of strictly Oblivion and Shivering Isles material. The creative

ways in which the vanilla items are used is masterful. Please read the brief description for each plugin,

and see the included screen shots, to get a better idea of what each does. There is also a cell grid map

available which shows the in-game footprint for all plugins. It can be viewed in the screenshot section

or downloaded from the files tab under "Miscellaneous".

Each of the individual plugins have been revised from their original state. Revisions include translations

from Japanese to English, ai package fixes, object placement fixes, landscape fixes, path grid corrections,

pruning out dirty/unnecessary edits, and creating patch files.

The HESU plugins themselves can be found on the files tab under "Main Files". Compatibility patches

are found under "Optional Files". The original HESU plugins are also available in case anyone wants them.

They can be found in the "Old Versions" category. I will not be providing any support for them. They have

been cleaned with TES4Edit, but are not translated, and contain a number of minor bugs.
