📋 About This Mod
Updated to version 1. 1. This new zip file contains the same readme file as v0. 5 v0. 5 initial release. This file contains HDR and Non-HDR versions. This mod should not cause any loss of FPS. At least it hasn\'t in my game. Installation is easy, simply extract the zipped file to your Bethesda/Oblivion/Data folder. If you also use Natural Environments, add the textures contained in this file to your Textures/NaturalEnvironments/Sky folder and be sure to update your archive invalidation in whatever manner you choose. I take absolutely NO credit for the creation of this mod. I had absolutely nothing to do with it, I am just uploading it for the TESNexus community. Any ratings will be considered a reflection on the Author\'s work. All credit must go to Sonic Ether who is the man responsible for this great addition to the game we enjoy.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 2,219 endorsements and 81,000 downloads.
- Lightweight and simple—just a texture replacer, no scripts or heavy changes.
- Adds a nice visual touch to the sun without affecting performance.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2008—may not be compatible with newer Oblivion versions or mods.
- Only affects the sun texture; no other visual changes.
For Oblivion players who want a quick visual upgrade to the sun without any gameplay changes. If you're a modder looking for a simple, proven texture replacer, this is a solid pick. Skip if you want more comprehensive visual overhauls or if you're playing a heavily modded setup where compatibility might be an issue.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a texture replacer, just drop the file into your Oblivion Data folder and overwrite if prompted.
- If you use a mod manager like OBMM or Wrye Bash, you can install it as a package for easier management.
- Check if other mods alter the sun texture—load order may matter if you have multiple replacers.
