📋 About This Mod
There have been many mods to slow backwards running over the years. And since I based this one off of Running Revised, there is actually a whole chain here. The problem is that none of the more recent entries in that chain, nor something like No Backwards Running Simplified, work with NorthernUI and its controller wizardry. So I just made my own. It does all the same speed modifications as Running Revised, but instead of basing it off your chosen walk-backwards key, it uses the (presumably relatively recent) OBSE function IsMovingBackwards. Thus, it works perfectly on controller.
Thanks to hyperion_5 for packaging Running Revised loose, so I didn't have to download an EXE off the Internet.
Thanks to the whole chain of modders in this niche before me:

For Skyrim players who use NorthernUI and want a more realistic movement speed when backing away. If you're on keyboard and mouse, this mod isn't for you. Skip if you want broader movement overhauls—this is a single, specific tweak.

- If you're using a mod manager, let it handle the file placement to avoid conflicts.
