📋 About This Mod

================================= SKELETON KEY RETEXTURE ================================= Version: 1. 1 Author: hlvr Date: 14 April, 2011 ================================= DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE: --------------------------------- This mod retextures the Skeleton Key, to make it look better. The reason I did this was because when you use a lockpicking mod, such as \"Zumbs Lockpicking Mod OBSE\" or \"Morrowind Lockpicking\", you get to see the lockpicks in first person view. Therefore, the quality of the textures becomes much more important. I couldn\'t find any mod that enhanced these textures enough, so I thought I could do it myself. It should be noted that I\'m not very experienced. In fact, this is my first retexture ever. I\'m sure there are people who can do a lot better than me. Feel free to try, and if you do, please message me so I could use it too ;) You can find these lockpicking mods here on TESNexus. They are both very good, but I prefer Zumbs Lockpicking Mod OBSE. This mod is dedicated especially to Zumbs, for helping me figure out a big, unknown and very confusing problem I had. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17894 - Zumbs Lockpicking Mod OBSE http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31424 - Morrowind Lockpicking For those of you that don\'t know, both of these lockpicking mods get rid of the \"lockpicking-game\" in Oblivion. They resemble more to the lockpicking system in Morrowind. In this mod, I\'ve also included Ceano\'s wonderful lockpick textures. They haven\'t been changed at all, since I thought they already were detailed enough for first person view. I thought I could include them here since they are very well related to the subject. ================================= Version 1. 1 --------------------------------- Since version 1. 1, the Skeleton Key (and the lockpicks) has been completely overhauled once again! I\'m quite happy about the new results and I hope you\'ll be too! They now look more worn, old and more like metal! If you have downloaded 1. 0 before, uninstall that and download 1. 1 and install that one instead. See the pictures on TESNexus for a proper comparison! ================================= INSTALLATION: --------------------------------- To install this, simply drag the files in the Data folder. If asked to overwrite, accept. I\'ve also included an OMOD, just for... the \"organizing\" people, like me. If you already Ceano\'s \"Better Looking Tools\" (http://elderscrolls.filefront.com/file/Better_Looking_Tools_v12;70387), then you will be asked to overwrite his files. Press yes to overwrite, since it\'s meant to overwrite... It should be noted that if you use Morrowind Lockpicking, the lockpick textures included from Ceano in this mod won\'t show in the game. That\'s because Morrowind Lockpicking has already included different versions of the lockpicks. So, what I mean is: if you have Morrowind Lockpicking i
