📋 About This Mod
Ever wondered why the Imperial City has a sewer system but no other towns seem to have one? Especially when Chorrol's sewer system can be seen in the Crumbling Mine? Then this mod is for you!
This mod adds a medium-sized sewer system to each city in Oblivion (except Kvatch) and two districts of the Imperial City which were missing a sewer system: the Arcane University and the Waterfront.
The sewer systems can be accessed through manholes in their respective towns/districts. All of the manholes are inside interiors except for the Arcane University, which has a manhole on the university grounds.
Five of the towns have exterior entrances to their sewer systems. The rest have to be accessed through manholes in the town/district.
The Arcane University sewers and the Waterfront sewers are also connected to their neighboring district's sewer system.
Some of the sewer systems need to be entered through a specific entrance in order to be fully explored.
The sewers are home to a wide array of creatures and characters. Who knows what you'll find down there, you may even find some treasure!
Compatibility
This mod has been cleaned with TES4Edit QuickAutoClean.
Will probably run into problems with Better Cities or Unique Landscapes.
For some reason this mod seems to have an issue with Real-Time Interactions. Killing certain NPCs in the mod which belong to evil factions while undetected will kick off the Dark Brotherhood questline. Only happens when RTI is active.
Adds sewer systems to all Oblivion cities except Kvatch, plus two Imperial City districts. A niche world-building mod for players wanting more underground exploration. With 149 endorsements and 3,187 downloads, it's a modestly popular addition.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community backing with 149 endorsements and over 3,000 downloads.
- Expands exploration in every major city, giving you more places to loot and fight.
- Fits the vanilla aesthetic—no crazy overhauls, just new underground areas.
⚠️ Cons
- No mention of compatibility with other city overhaul mods—could conflict.
- Last updated in January 2023, so might not be fully tested with the latest Oblivion patches.
For Oblivion explorers who've memorized every nook and cranny and want fresh dungeons to crawl. Also for lore hounds who dig the idea of sewers beneath the cities. Skip if you're after gameplay overhauls—this is purely additive exploration content.
💡 Beginner Tips

- Check for conflicts with other mods that alter city layouts or add new cells.
- If you're using Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE), make sure it's updated to the latest version.
