📋 About This Mod
SB Weapon Drop fix
Requires: xOBSE v22. 3. 1 or higher | LINK (Optional)
(xOBSE - Github Page)
"Pry it from my cold, dead hands..."
Features:
-
[]The Game Setting iDeathDropWeaponChance is set to 0, so enemies no longer drop weapons on death (they remain in inventory).
[
]An ini config file is included to easily disable this fix if neccessary.[]LINK/LINK++ support is also included so the fix can be toggled on and off in game at any time.
[]Special handling of the Shivering Isles DLC quest "Symbols of Office:"
[]In the Shivering Isles DLC quest "Symbols of Office" the player fights a shadow-clone of themselves.
[]This clone is carrying the weapon Shadowrend, and is expected to drop the weapon on death.
[]However; this shadow-clone can not be looted, so when iDeathDropWeaponChance = 0, the weapon becomes un-obtainable.
[]SB Weapon Drop Fix includes a workaround to re-enable and then once more disable iDeathDropWeaponChance before and after the fight, respectively.
[]This ensures the shadow-clone will drop Shadowrend.
- []Extract the contents of "SB Weapon Drop Fix. 7z" to the Oblivion/Data/ directory.
- Done.
I am not aware of any other NPC's negatively effected by this setting, but please let me know in the comments if any are found.
