==Sallets== Two sallets with bevor, a steel and an ebony helmet. You can buy the helmets at \'Fire & Steel\' in Chorrol. The steel helmet is nearly as good as a dwarven helmet, but also nearly as expensive. Since it\'s still quite a \'low level\' helmet I didn\'t make a level restriction, you can buy it from game start. Don\'t tell me the texture is not the best one cause I know. I\'ve tried my best to give it a steel color at least, but I\'m not good at texturing. The ebony helmet is slightly better than the original ebony helmet (and more expensive), but worse than deadric. The helmet is leveled, you can buy it from level 17 on. A brief description of the \'real\' helmet for those interested: The sallet (also called salade) was a war helmet that replaced the bascinet in northern Europe during the mid-15th century. The sallet was close fitting except at the back of the head where it extended and formed a pointed tail. It often rested above an extended gorget called a bevor that protected the wearer\'s jaw. Rather than use a visor, a typical sallet pivoted on a hinge so that the whole helmet could tilt backward when not in use. A sallet needed no breathing holes because, when returned to the ready position, there was a natural gap where it overlapped the bevor near the wearer\'s mouth. ==Installation== Extract the archive into you Oblivion\\Data folder.
