📋 About This Mod

To instal, place the \"esp\" file in your data and activeted it in your data file before running the game The idea is : At the gates of a city, a guard can\'t reconize a bandit, thus some of them can walk inside the city. This mod makes cities a little bit more dangerous. In fact, there are 3 kind of Bandits in each city: -Bandit (75% chance none) -Highway man (ask you 100 gold or fight,50% chance none) -Marauder (75% chance none) In other words, there are 25% chance for you to see a bandit in a city, 25% marauder and 50% highway man. But with \"NPCs alive\", they don\'t always attack you or somebody else. I SUGGEST the mod \"NPCs alive\", because without, a bandit will attack you each time when he spawns! With this mod, there are a chance of no fight even if you see a bandit. The mod \"Crowned Cities\" could be good too. I don\'t think that this mod can make a mess in cities because there are lots of guards. V1. 0

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Adds a new layer of danger to city exploration, making the world feel more alive.
  • Simple concept with clear spawn chances, so you know what to expect.
  • Lightweight and old-school, fits the classic Oblivion modding vibe.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2008, so it may have compatibility issues with modern setups or other mods.
  • Spawn chances are low, so you might rarely encounter bandits, making the mod feel underwhelming.
  • The description is incomplete, and the suggested mod 'NPCs' is not fully named, leaving you to guess.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Oblivion players who want to add a bit of unpredictability and danger to city life without overhauling the game. If you're looking for a subtle challenge and don't mind occasional encounters, this is for you. Skip if you prefer safe cities or want more frequent action.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since this mod is from 2008, consider using a mod manager like Wrye Bash to manage load order and avoid conflicts.
  • Check if the suggested 'NPCs' mod is required for full functionality; if not, you might miss out on intended features.
  • If you find bandits too rare, you can tweak the spawn chances in the Construction Set, but that's more advanced.
