Pat\'s Business Mod---Shop ================================== NOW COMPATIBLE WITH BETTER CITIES (OBSE is ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED for all versions of this mod!) It is rather disappointing at the lack of ways to obtain gold in Oblivion. The only way is to get a little pocket money is to get up and kill something or crawl through a cave or sewer. This mod is for the more peaceful or maybe less adventurous types. Being a shopkeeper can still be dangerous though... ================================== Troubleshooting for Better Cities -The problem is likely a conflicting mod issue or failure to install OBSE properly -Check OBSE with this mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=33574 -load order shouldn\'t matter -I used the regular version of BC (no add-ons like Slofs Goth Shop or Zealots of the Nine etc etc) -Conflicting mods mean anything that changes the city of Chorrol (most likely) -This mod was tested using Better_Cities_4-5-2b-16513; previous or future versions of this mod may produce complications -Ask the community for help or google the problem ================================= Note about NO THIEVES version No Thieves is now integrated into the main version. You can toggle thieves on or off by using the management book. ================================ REQUIREMENTS -latest patch for Oblivion -OBSE is ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED! http://obse.silverlock.org/ ================================== What this mod does This mod allows the player to purchase a run-down, abandoned, semi-destroyed shop from Seed-Neus\' Northern Goods and Trade in Chorrol. Walk up to Seed-Neus and click to see what she\'s selling. Purchasing the Deed to Chorrol Shop will give you a key to the shop. It\'s your job to turn this small-time business selling Iron Weapons and jail clothing into a massive store raking in the gold and expanding it\'s influence within Chorrol. Purchasing upgrades and recieving licenses will increase your fame level, which increases the chance people will buy goods from your shop. You can order goods to sell at your shop by writing out order forms at your desk. The order forms have a discount on them based on your shop\'s fame level. You can put the orders in your mailbox and packages will be delivered a day later with your requested goods. Thieves might randomly break into your shop at 10PM. If you sleep through ten o\'clock, there is a 75% chance the night will pass without event. If you are awake at ten, they might decide to come anyways. One, two, or three thieves will come. They will either wake you up, or steal a little gold. You can remove their bodies in the same way as the Shoppers. These guys are fairly easy to kill and may run away from you if you startle them (or they may run away if they just feel like it.) If you chase them out of your store, you can see the Chorrol Guards in the dead of night hunting them down like the animals they are. NEW in Version 2. 1!!! - Changed .
