Now you will need a pickaxe to mine gold, silver amber, and madness ore. You will draw the pickaxe and activate the pocket you wish to get minerals from and after a few strikes you will get some minerals. And the pocket will only provide so much and it will be depleted. Most pockets will restore their minerals in time. This makes mining more like Skyrim mining so you don't treat mining like you look into a barrel its more realistic.

To fully install this mod you will need to add the Better Mining.bsa to your Oblivion.ini file in order for the new objects to load in-game. Read the Better Mining.txt file that comes in the download on how to add the Better Mining.bsa to the Oblivion.ini.
