📋 About This Mod
Edit: Wasn\'t working very well in version 1, so I completely removed all staggering bonuses from combat styles, as well as knockback and pain delay settings. This should now remove 95% of all staggering/knockback effects. Keep in mind that if you\'re attacking with a weapon and your weapon is blocked, there will be a short \"recovery time\" associated with that. Whenever I create a new character, it seems like I spend half the battle being stunned/staggered and unable to do anything. Really annoying. This modifies the settings so it shouldn\'t happen at all. The player can still stagger enemies though, which is why I\'ve posted it under cheats. :) Let me know if you have any issues with it not working. Enjoy! -Grax
No Combat Staggering is a simple mod that prevents enemies from staggering the player when hit with a Power Attack. It's a lightweight cheat mod for players who find stagger mechanics frustrating. With 52 endorsements and over 1,100 downloads, it's a niche but appreciated tweak, though it hasn't been updated since 2011.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- No more getting locked in stagger animations during power attacks—huge for melee builds.
- Tiny mod, no performance hit, just does exactly what it says.
- Over 1,100 downloads show it's been useful to a decent number of players.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects power attack staggers, not other stagger sources like shields or spells.
- Old mod from 2011, so it might not be compatible with newer game versions or mods.
- No configuration options—it's all or nothing, so you can't tweak it to your liking.
This is for players who hate getting staggered by power attacks and want a simple, no-frills fix. It's especially useful for melee-focused characters who often trade blows with enemies. If you're tired of being interrupted mid-swing, this mod removes that specific annoyance.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager, just drop the file into your mods folder and activate it.
- Since it's an old mod, test it early in your playthrough to ensure it works with your current setup.
- Pair it with other combat tweaks to create a more balanced experience, as this only removes one specific stagger source.
