New Lands-Lokgarvia Beta Readme ============== Description ============== Adds the new island of Lokgarvia to Oblivion. The island is roughly 1 square mile (2. 59 square kilometers). There will be two cities, Miklagaard and Slaughterholm. EDIT The city is open to the world so if you have a low framerate outdoors you may not want to download. there are a lot of distant trees. MIKLAGAARD the city is nearly complete. It is a little larger then Bruma. I just need to add some interiors. Currently there are interiors for the Chapel, South Wall Corner Club, and Adonnay\'s Weapons New Viking weapons can be bought from the master weapon smith Adonnay at his shop(see screens for location). Thieves Guild members in trouble with the law should seek out Gentlemen Jim Stacey at the South Wall Corner Club and he will take care of the bounty for a small fee, of course. SLAUGHTERHOLM SLAUGHTERHOLM HAS BEEN ADDED! EDIT Slaughterholm is a small port city on the southern tip of the island. It is a Viking built city. It was built on the ashes of Ravenholm(see Lore). The Duke of Slaughterholm was assassinated some months ago. EDIT Most of the interiors are copies of oblivion interiors. ============= Location ============= To get to Lokgarvia you must got to the Viking Trading Post it is located by the Anvil Lighthouse. Activate the rudder on the ship by the crane(see screens) ============ Update ============ 0. 67 Changes: The most notable change is that Slaughtholm has been added to the island. to get there follow one of the roads south from Miklagaard or if your too lazy to walk just fast travel there. In Slaughtholm you will find the deadly assassin\'s know as the Crimson Hand( no npcs yet). If you can find there sanctuary you can obtain there armor. (I will not give the location of the sanctuary so pleas don\'t ask.)If you need weapons or armor there is a blacksmith in town. 0. 61 Changes: The most notable change is the guard dialog has been fixed. Added beards to some of the npcs ============ Lore ============ In the year 3E26 the island of Felstad, renamed Lokgarvia by King Harold II, the Viking Harold Lokgarr arrived via ship at the Imperial port of Ravenholm, now Slaughterholm. He was looking for place for his people to call home. The Duke of Ravenholm ordered Harold Lokgarr and his people to board their ships and leave irremediably. Harold became furious and sent his warriors into the city. The Vikings slaughtered the population, men, women, and childern alike. Harold then ordered the city to be burned to the ground. The commander of Fort Miklagaard, Captain Lux Avidius ordered his legion to march south and recapture Ravenholm. Harold Lokgarr knew this and set a trap. He had his men set a trap at Murder Pass where they slaughtered the Imperial legion. Harold marched his forces north and captured Miklagaard. For resons unknown he aloud the remaining Imperials to leave the island unharmed. In the year
