Megaloceros (from Greek: μεγαλος megalos + κερας keras, literally "Great Horn) is an extinct genus of deer whose members lived throughout Eurasia from the Pleistocene to the early Holocene. The type and only undisputed member of the genus, Megaloceros giganteus, vernacularly known as the "Irish elk" or "giant deer", is also the best known. It was a beautiful creature and since Elbethien uploaded her superb model of this Megaloceros, I wanted to mod a player mount and companion out of it. I did it several times but never shared it to the public. Now my Megaloceros mount is coming to Nexus for players to enjoy...

How to get your companion

You can purchase the spell book from Ungarion at the Warlok's Luk in Bravil ("The Megaloceros").

Obviously the Megaloceros companions is mountable, just press the activate key on your mount companion to mount like a Horse (simple enough). "Mega" (sorry for the name) has a saddle bags which means he has a working inventory. You can use his inventory by pressing the "I" key when looking at him. On sneaking you can activate the animal so it will either follow you or wait for you. Eventually you can summon your companion at any time (handy if/when your mount is lost)
