here is the moon texture (1x1k size) replacer for masser and secunda i'm currently using.
i was not happy with the at least slightly artificial appearance of
vanilla moons and some other mod moons. here is the result of my elder scrolls
moons i'm happy with. the result does not break immersion and the moons
look how elder scrolls moons may look.
1x1k size is used for a good compromize between high quality viewing experience and a reasonable performance.
it is sufficient for playing fullhd and up to fov 30 (but not fov 10 or for a full size moon filling the whole screen).
i used the photorealistic skins of existing moons for natural apperance
and applied the the colors i would expect for elder scrolls moons. all
moonphases and the fitting moonshadowtexture for correct transition with
stars are included. the colors and the brightness of the moons may vary
depending on your individual setiings (enb, saturation, weather mod,
night settings, etc.)
Just copy texture folder into the data folder and thats it.
After installation archive invalidation is recommended or the better way: simply use a mod manager. i recommend mod organizer!
as this is a texture replacer mod this texture should not be overwritten by another mod.
