📋 About This Mod
I\'ve always hated how hard it is to find lockpicks when starting a new character. I don\'t like the other lockpick making tool mods available for one reason or another, so I made my own. It took longer to convert the MiddleChestJewelry.nif file from a static container to an Misc Object with Havok than it did to write the scripts... Anyway, here are some details from the readme: Buy the toolkit from Shady Sam. He can be found behind Chestnut Handy Stables just outside the Imperial City\'s main gate. He kind of hides in one of the nooks, just keep following the IC\'s wall, and watch for him on the right. Once you have the toolkit in your inventory, you will need steel arrows to make into lockpicks. Click on the toolkit, and select what you wish to do from the menus. You get one lockpick from each arrow...usually. There is a chance for failure. Determining success or failure: This is determined by first calculating your skill. Your skill is the average of your Agility, Intelligence, Luck, and Security attributes. Next, your skill is compared to a random roll between zero and 99. If your skill is equal to or higher than the random roll, you do not lose any lockpicks. However, if you fail, you lose a percentage of the lockpicks you attempted to make. Enjoy! == Update: Version 1. 1 == - Tweaked the collision and Havok of the toolkit a little. - Made a better looking icon. - Made a minor adjustment to the success/fail formula.
