Leviathan Soul Gems Abridged 1_3 A mod by Star Boi 6/5/11 What this mod adds: This mod replaces the meshes for greater and grand soul gems, and the textures for most soul gems. The idea was to recreate the diversity of soul gems present in Morrowind in Oblivion. Thanks to Tarnsman, there are also particle effects attached to the soul gem meshes to make them even more magical-looking. Tarnsman was also kind enough to create beautiful icons for these new soul gems. The colossal black soul gem is no longer a quest item after it has served its purpose, so you can put it on display in your trophy room instead of carrying it around forever after. There are three .esps available for this mod: Version 1_2, Variant A: Black soul gems in skull settings. Version 1_2, Variant B: Classic-shaped black soul gems that are like the vanilla Oblivion icons. Version 1_3, Varient B: Classic-shaped black soul gems that are like the vanilla Oblivion icons. Greater soul gems in display cases in the Chorrol Mage Guild hall have been reduced in size so that they do not wiggle around or jump out. Installation: Extract the files to a temporary location outside of Oblivion/Data. Move the meshes and textures to your Oblivion/Data folder. Chose either the Variant A Skull Black Soul Gems .esp or the Variant B Classic Black Soul Gems .esp and move it to your Oblivion/Data folder. Check the box for \"Leviathan Soul Gems Abridged\" in your mod manager. Variant A and Variant B both have .esps with the same name and you can only run one at a time. Installing one will automatically save over the other. This is a good thing because the two conflict and the last one in the load order would be dominant should they be renamed with two names. Removal: Remove the .esp and remove the meshes and textures. This is not a replacer. The .esp must be activated to see the changes, and the changes go away when the .esp is deactivated. Consult your downloaded compressed file to see where the Leviathan Soul Gem files are located in your directories.
